Academy for Better Communities (ABC) Barry University School of Social Work - www.barry.edu/abc. The Academy for Better Communities (ABC) assists and builds capacity among agencies and community organizations in South Florida placing special interest in low-income communities.  Operating under the auspices of the Barry University School of Social Work, ABC mobilizes the school's resources—its expertise, students, and faculty—to increase the capabilities of social agencies and their staff while finding practical solutions to the challenges faces by South Florida communities.  The Academy is open to collaborative relationships to conduct research and implement projects that will benefit communities.
