Miami N.I.C.E. is a collaborative initiative designed to maximize the social impact of grassroots faith-based and community organizations (FBCOs) in Miami-Dade County that provide services to those most in need.

Miami N.I.C.E. is funded with a three-year federal grant from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Administration of Children and Families. A local match is provided by City of Miami Office of the Mayor, Miami-Dade County, and The Children's Trust.

Objectives are to address challenges to FBCO sustainability and effectiveness; and enhance the ability of FBCOs to collaborate.

3) 2009 Sub-Award Grants to fund capacity projects for approximately twenty
FBCOs selected through an annual, competitive process
(estimated size of grant is $10,000 per organization)
